"The more you learn,
The more you Earn" -Warren Buffer
BOOKS ... Yes you guessed it right. These are the only source of knowledge which have made Bill Gates, Mark Zukerberg, Elons Musk, Warren Buffet etc....
The books I read personally has touched me and made it very clear that one day I will be in Forbes Billionare list. I will make it very clear to my teachers that I am not at all a looser that will be proud of me.
Ok... Let's get back.
Here is the list of five people who are successful and they read a lot-
1. Warren Buffer
Warren Buffet claims to read 500 pages a day. He’s stated that he devotes about 80% of his time to reading. Perhaps it isn’t a coincidence that he’s one of the richest men in the world.2. M. J. Demaco
M.J. Demarco is a self-made millionaire and author of the book: The Millionaire Fastlane. In that book he talks about the importance of reading and suggests that a book a week is a good target to set. He also hosts a recommended bookshelf on his website.3. Mark Cuban
Mark Cuban, another successful billionaire, reads 3 hours a day. That adds up to about 1,000 hours a year. Say the average book takes 5 hours to read, that means Cuban is reading 200 books a year.4. Bill Gates
The man who unleashed Microsoft onto the world, Bill Gates, reads 50 books a year. The result? At the time of this writing he is currently the wealthiest person in the world with a cool $78,000,000,000.5. Mark Zukerberg
In 2015 Mark Zuckerberg pledged to a read a book every two weeks. While this may be less ambitious than other billionaires on this list, some books on his list are long and complex. Like Sapiens which has become a hit in Silicon Valley.3 REASONS WHY RICH AND SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE READ EVERY DAY
Wondered why so many rich and successful people swear by reading every day? As habits go, reading is a very popular choice amongst the rich and successful.Reason 1 – Readings help increase your focus
In a world where everyone is multi-tasking and a phone is beeping every minute, to sit down and read for a consistent amount of time takes focus. Even just reading for 20 minutes a day is helping your mind to focus on just the one task at hand. That discipline can then be applied to other areas of life.Reason 2 – Reading helps you to continually learn
So many people are taught to get a good formal education and then you will become successful and rich. In reality, it is very far from the truth. Increasingly we hear stories of the “dropouts” who go on to achieve great things. The reason is because becoming successful isn’t about being a Straight A student. It is about creativity, innovation, determination and much more.Reading helps you learn about concepts the school system never taught you about such as how to actually manage your finances, how to network like a pro and how to master your elevator pitch.
And reading also allows you to learn things that weren’t even known when you were at school. The reason why continual learning is EVEN more important now than ever before is because the world is changing so quickly. To be successful you need to stay up-to-date and reading supports that ongoing learning process.
Reason 3 – Reading helps you to be reflective
Life is a long lesson andas I explained in reason 2 reading is great for teaching you, but that is only half of the learning process. The other reason why reading is so powerful is because it can challenge you. When you read the right book you are forced to reflect on why society is a certain way, why you act in a certain manner and whether you practice what is being taught in a book.
It is this reflective practice, which really helps people to succeed in life. It is through spending the time to delve deeper and really explore who you are that helps you become the best version of yourself possible.
That is 3 of many reasons why reading why rich and successful people read every day.
